Pisgah National ForestLocation: To the northwest, southwest, and northeast of Asheville. Distance: Multiple trails from 2 miles on up. Similar to DuPont, it has been a while since I have ridden here, and I had to refresh my memory. This place is huge and there are plenty of trails. Again, I would refer readers to the Mountain Bike Western North Carolina site for plenty of information. The trail system in Pisgah is so extensive, I can not do it justice with a few photos. All I can hope to do is give you a flavor of the trails. If you are going to ride this area, pick up a guide book and talk some of the local riders in Brevard. |
