Matson Hill

Location: Off of Highway 94 south of 40 in St. Charles County.

Distance: 2.5 miles per lap.

Matson Hill is another park that we have to thank the Gateway Off-Road Cyclist for. The trail is tight, twisty, and hilly. While preparing the photos for the web site, I realized that I managed to take photos of the only flat, straight sections of the trail.

Matson Hill -- which is just off the Katy Trail -- could be strung together with Klondike and Klondike for a very satisfying ride.
