Bear CreekLocation: Ellijay. Distance: 14 miles. The Bear Creek ride that my friend, David, and I did was a 7 mile climb to the summit, a short rest, and then a 7 mile descent back to the car. If I remember correctly, it took us close to 2 hours to reach the top and about 30 minutes to get back down. Quite a view from the summit. My understanding is that there are more trails and options at Bear Creek than what we rode. |
